UWS Government Publications Blog

How Does it Work?

The UWS Government Publications Blog is a current awareness service.

Publications issued by governmental institutions and non-governmental organisations are numerous and the wide variety of topics and sources can be bewildering to the uninitiated. The blog, therefore, is designed to highlight some documents which may be of relevance to library users in the academic sector.

Use the options in the column on the right to navigate your way around the site. You can check documents by the day of posting, by recent post, or by category. The categories reflect UWS schools. This is a useful way to see only the posts which are of relevance to your own research needs. You can also enter your own keywords into the search facility to see if there are any documents on the blog covering your required topic.

If you are looking for a document which is not on the blog, please don’t hesitate to contact me. My details are available on the Library’s website

You can also leave a comment if you want. Say what you want (within the bounds of decency, of course) and I’ll do my best to help you out. You should note, though, that gripes with the Scottish Government should be sent here, the UK Government here, and the EU here. I’m not your political agony aunt.

Enjoy!
